Using GraphSharp as LayoutEngine: Getting X,Y-Coordinates

Jan 29, 2013 at 8:59 AM

since I have many problems with MS Glee in order to get a useful Graph Layout, I would like to use Graph Sharp as a graph layout engine for my ASP.NET application.

I think this should be no problem, however, I have problems to get the calculated X and Y coordinates from the nodes.

There has been a solution in prior builds:

double x = GraphCanvas.GetX(graphLayout.GetVertexControl(vertex));

However, the GetVertexControl function is not available anymore.

Any comments to this problem would be welcome :)

Use the the layout algorithm classes directly, instead of using the GraphCanvas (it's also a good idea to avoid the dependency on WPF controls in an ASP.NET application).
